The Queen of Oils - Coconut Oil by Ni Zain
Most of you are not aware how important it is to eat the right oil - and not just when you have problems with Cholesterol - than it is already to late... Oils are essential for our life. Oils make our engine run and supply us with many minerals and vitamins. On top, if you eating the wrong oils, you are very likely to have health problems - now and more in the future. Research has shown that we have the first signs of Arterioscleroses at the age of 5 years. This was a research done 15 years ago. I believe today the situation is far more dramatic. So even for very small children it is important to eat the right oils.
For me almost half of my life I was eating olive oil. I learned it was the best oil if you want to stay healthy. Years later, I learned, that there is an oil far better than any other oil in the world: Coconut Oil
My love for Coconut Oil was sort of inducted. About 6 years ago I lived in a remote village in Bali. Shopping trips had to be well planed and it took me a two hours drive to get to a supermarket carrying the kind of food I was looking for, as well as Olive Oil. A really bad cough hit me and there was no chance I get out of the house for at least 2 weeks. Sure enough we ran out of most food, so we started to get our supplies like everybody else from the Warung across the street. After the last drop of olive oil, I was not really keen to try one of the commercial oils, so I asked the women around me what they are using. And there is was in a big bottle: Coconut Oil. But it was very different. It did not have this strong smell and looked different than the extra virgin coconut oil. I thought, I give it a try. I was more than just surprised when I tasted the food: It tasted really good and not at all coconutty. As I am using for more than 15 years now a very special coconut oil from Java for my body, which also has no smell and gives the body a very nice silky texture, I was wondering what is behind this oil. I found out that the Balinese have a special way to make the oil, but boiling it very slow at low temperature. One of the incredible changes I could feel once I started eating the Balinese Coconut Oil was the change of the digestion of the whole family. Each of us had a total chance of structure - easier, softer.
Over the last 7 years now I have studied many hours about Coconut Oils and other oils. Fact is that Soy, Corn and most other processed oils are really bad for us. Most of those oils are made even from GM food sources, such as Soy and Corn oils. Oils are a major factor on how we can deal with radiation - from sun, from the nature and from man made sources. Fact is that no oil is helping our liver more to deal with radiation than coconut oil. Means, if you eat and use coconut oil on your body, the chance to develop skin cancer is far lower than with any other oil. Normally all this benefits are given to olive oil, but though strange ways in our world, politics, economics major researches in the past have been made WITHOUT including the right coconut oils from Asia. Fact is also that not each olive oil is good. Here some ideas about olive oil: That an olive tree can give olives it has to get at least 20 years old. Olive trees were only grown in the Mediterranean. For 20 years now the use of olive oil has gone up, and up and up. How can the trees catch up with the high demand? Easy, many of the oils are second and even third pressed qualities. In the Mediterranean communities around the world it is known that outside of the Mediterranean you cannot get good olive oil. No way, or you pay at least 30 US$ for a bottle. Olive oil sold overseas is at this point around 6 - 10 US$. Real olive oil has almost a light green color and a very strong olive smell to it. Knowing olive oil right from the farms in Spain and Italy, the ones I find around other places are quite of poor quality. So, it does matter what oil we eat. Just buying a bottle of olive oil, does not mean you get real good olive oil for your body, means the oil which was traditionally made in Europe for thousands of years.
With coconut oil it is pretty similar. I am not very keen on many of them, but over the last years I have found several brands and people who do really good coconut oil. Prices can variant from 2 US$ to almost 20 US$, depends on the way it is made and were it is made. But each of the coconut oil I am using has one thing in common: They all low temperature boiled, they all have a slight milky color to them and they all don't have this super strong coconut taste to them. Each of them has a different power to them. They are oils you can heat up very high without they would get brown or black. No other oil has such an ability to keep well to high temperatures. Going though 3-4 liters of coconut oil, we all are quite slim, health, have well digestion and no Bali Bellies anymore. Most of the past sun damage done to me has vanished to pretty light colored spots, most of them have gone. I can spent a whole day in the sun without using sunscreen and don't get a sunburn. Blood tests of the whole family show best and stabile blood results. So within 7 years nobody has developed any Cholesterol problems, nobody has signs of overweight.
Here some facts about Coconut Oil many of you might not know:
* Hospitals use a mix of coconut oil with other food to feed people in comas
* Most good baby formulas contain coconut oil, as it is very nutrious and far healthier for babies. Only cheep brands and companies who care more about economics have switched to other oils
* Pigs feed with coconut oil lost weight, so to get them gain weight Soy Oil is now used
* Coconut Oil is one of the best colon cleanser, once you start eating coconut oil your colon cleans out and you are able to absorb nutrition much better, this is why many start to put on weight once they eat coconut oil, as finally they can digest food proper again. Once the diet is balanced and one will wait for at least 3 months, you will loose weight without cutting calories.
* Coconut Oil contains the smallest amount of Polysutarated Fats (2%) compare to other Oils - Canola (32%) Sunflower (77%), Olive Oil (9%), Soybean Oil (61%), Corn Oil (62%), Butter (4%)
* If you apply coconut oil on a healing wound the wound will heal faster, the risk of infection lowers and the scar tissue will disappear faster and leave a smaller scar, which might totally heal off if you keep on using coconut oil
* Coconut Oil applied to the scalp will heal any dandruff problem, as well your hair will grow faster and nicer
* Coconut Oil has a shell live up to 2 years or longer without the need of any chemicals or stabilizers. I have personal oils which are almost 5 years and they are still smelling fresh and nice.
* Coconut Oil makes your teeth stronger and you will have less dentist visits
* Parasites, Fungus, bacteria, worms and even lice don't like the coconut oil and will leave you if you apply or eat coconut oil.
Blood tests of the whole family show best and stabile blood results. So within 7 years nobody has developed any Cholesterol problems, nobody has signs of overweight. Many of my clients have improved incredible with their digestion since they using coconut oil. I had a little boy with very bad eczema, we gave him coconut oil each day and 4 times a day we applied coconut oil on his skin. Within hours he improved, after 14 days his skin was cleared out totally.
Unfortunately media has done a good job worldwide to get coconut oil in discredit. It is your choice to find out more about the powers of oils and go for the right oil to use in your family. I had many cases of people who were almost scared to dead using coconut oil for cooking in their family. Often those who are overweight, with big health problems and eating dairy, wheat and corn products. But if you live in Bali, have a very close look in the villages were coconut oil is still used, look at the elderly. They are very strong, healthy and always slim. Now compare those who now swapped into modern food patterns and eating processed oils - overweight, Diabetes at young ages, digestive problems. Most of the elders here in Bali have problems about calcification from water with high levels of calcium, but not from eating coconut oil. If you take time and talk to old people form the villages, which I did many times to find out their old ways of eating, you hear always, they use this special coconut oil. One time the grandfather himself climbed the coconut tree and got me a fresh coconut. I was totally impressed and sure it has proven to me that there is nothing better than eating either fresh coconut or coconut oil - made how the Balinese doing for centuries...
Good health starts today, good health starts at childhood. So make the right family choices and eat fresh vegetables with coconut oil and all of you will gain healthy and beauty...
