Homeopathy
I
I
am sure many of you heard about Homeopathy. For many of you it
seamed to complicate or you had no access to it. This is what
happened to me. Than 5 years ago a friend always pushed me to
start using them. Even gave me a bag of remedies to use! Finally
I got myself together and got into it. And… it is fantastic.
Once you understand how Homeopathy works it is so easy to use.
Where
does it come from? A German – Dr. Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843)
discovered it finally 1790, while the knowledge goes back to 400
BC. Thanks so much Dr. Hahnemann! He had to go though hard times
as many inventors of new ideas, but finally he made it and by
the end of the last century 15% of the physicians in USA were
Homeopaths. But what happened than? Well, two quite well known
American multimillionaires (Who eels?) decided, that the cure
with Homeopathy is taking too long and that their employees are
too long sick. So these two nice men decided to get people taking
the new “chemical wonder drugs”. The rest is history.
These days you cannot get out of a practiconer without a bag full
of drugs… Or a doctor who does not give you a bag full of
drugs is not good! All these drugs have far more side effects
than they actually cure. These days the highest rate to use homeopathy
in the world is India. Indians using homeopathy on regular base
– even treatments in hospitals are supported with homeopathy.
Homeopathy is the health solution for poor countries, but the
profits are not high enough! So who cares? The Royals in England
have for 150 years their own Homeopaths (not the same) in the
palace. Guess that’s why they all so healthy and getting
so old. Did you know that drugs prescribed from Doctors in USA
kill over 100 000 people each year? Easy going stuff like Aspirin
and Paracetamol… That is not so easy!
What
is Homeopathy? I don’t want to go too much into details,
but Homeopathy is based on the fundamental law “Like is
cured by like”. For example a Belladona pure taken as a
drink would kill you, but the Homeopathic remedy Belladonna heals
fevers and many more and is without any side effects. Hahnemann,
diluted the basic substance and shacked them. The process is now
known as potentizeing remedies. It is still done this way today.
There are more than 600 remedies today, in many different potencies.
6x is the lowest I know and they go quite far up to 1Mx and I
think more. Usually at home using 30x or 200x is a very good choice.
All the remedies are listed and described in the Materia Medica
– the bible of the Homeopaths. I spent hours and hours jumping
though it and found the most incredible connections. For example
hard water can have an influence on our health too! But there
is a remedy that can help. But usually a Handbook of Homeopathy
is the one you can use for your family. There are some books special
on kids. I got four books at home and the combination of them
is just perfect. I always cross check the four books and find
so very easy the right solution.
How
safe is it to take Homeopathy? It is absolutely safe! There has
never ever been a report of lasting adverse drug reaction in Homeopathy.
Never! The worst happening is… you took the wrong and it
does not do anything to you. Homeopathic remedies are not toxic.
It can be taken from pregnant woman, babies, children, elderly.
Sometimes people freak out if you offer them Homeopathy. I have
a friend, she bottle feeds her kids, gives them junk food (lots
of MSG), buys any kind of drug out of a Pharmacy, but when I offered
her Cammomille for her teething toddler, she was scared and told
me she need to check out first what that is and what it does to
her child. Even she knew I drained my daughter with it for 2 ½
years. I think the bottle is still full and the toddler still
has teething pains! Another one told me: “Well, what if
my child gets addicted after so many doses? I heard so many bad
things about natural drugs and herbs” I hear more bad stuff
about Aspirin and Paracetamol! My daughter took 2 ½ years
Cammomille 200x and the day her last tooth was out she did not
need it anymore. The bottle is not opened since. It is so save
that your toddler can take a whole glass (happened to me –
you never have enough eyes on a toddler) – while you having
a shower or a phone call – and you do not have to rush to
the next hospital. Just make sure she never does that again…
And there is one formula in Homeopathy I never forget: The more
you use them the less you need them! After 5 years now I have
to say – this is true. In the beginning I would just run
though bottles, but now there sit most of the time in their box.
We all are so much healthier.
Why
is it not more used? Well, guess why? It is too cheep. If everybody
in the world would take natural remedies than big drug companies
– who have more power these days than governments –
would be bankrupt! It is also about education. If the knowledge
is not given to people how can they know. In Third World counties
where half of the people cannot read or have access to books?
In our Western world where TV and Magazines are taking over the
education and they are sponsored by the drug companies? Who is
taking the time to sit down over a 300 pages Homeopathic book,
if you not motivated and stimulated from someone… I hope
you got some stimulation now!
So
finally… Why? I can tell you so many stories of how great
homeopathy is working, but I make it easy for you with giving
you just three examples:

One month ago I felt down a staircase. The stairs had sharp corners
and I already knew while still falling, that I really hurt myself.
I got up, but saw stars and stripes… Managed after a few
minutes to go upstairs to my bag and took immediately Arnica 200x.
And 15 minutes later another doses. I sat down and felt that my
legs were swelling, but not the expected pain. After one hour
I could drive my car home and managed to look for all needs at
home. But at night I could feel that there was still something
going on. So I took Arnica 1Mx. A single doses, I wanted to make
sure it got the right boost. The next morning I still had swellings,
but hardly any pain. 48 hours after I was okay. Still remaining
blue stains and scratches for 3 weeks. Out of experience I know
normally without Arnica I would have been down for at least one
week not been able to walk at all.

I just heard of a case of a 1 year old girl in Italy. She was
on the beach with parents and friends when she suddenly had high
fever. She was than rushed to the hospital where they treated
the fever. 8 hours after the onset of the fever the girl died.
After she was diagnosed with Meningitis. The hospital just did
not have enough time to diagnose and help her. On a normal base
just to treat the fever was not enough to save her life. We looked
up the Homeopathic books and found: Belladonna used normally as
the first remedy when fever is involved is also treating Meningitis.
So, we believe if the girl would have been immediately treated
with Belladonna against her fever the hospital would have had
time to diagnose the Meningitis and treat her with an appropriate
drug. The girl might be still alive! Cases like this can happen
anywhere in the world!

A kids birthday party in Bali. All kids parting, but suddenly
one is getting red blisters and allergic reactions. Her mom told
me she probably got together with a caterpillar (Ulat –
hairy and they can cause nasty allergic reactions all over the
body within minutes). I usually have a basic first add set in
my bag. I treated the girl with a Homeopathic antihistamine which
my homeopath told me it can be even used on snack bites. (No proof
on my side on this yet!) But we gave her 5 doses in one hour and
I put a doses in a water bottle which she was still drinking for
the rest of the day. A local health service was called and they
said to rush her to the hospital. The mother was quite calm and
trusted in what we both did. She was a great help. We both felt
the girl will be okay. The girl was stressed, but not crying.
She had quite heat in her body, but it went down within 15 minutes.
1 hour later she was with the other kids again, still some itchy,
but okay. If she would have been to the hospital? No party, taking
blood from a 2 year old, treating her with drugs. Stress pure!
Trauma! (There are cased which need to be rushed to the hospital
– but even than it is better to have the homeopathic remedy
to over bridge the time to the hospital, diagnose and treatment!
And there are cased they never reach the hospital… they
to far away!)
